Ps5 Tips: Hidden Features and Settings

With the release of the PS5, a lot of people are wondering how to turn on PS5 from App. The answer is quite simple. All you need to do is go to your settings and enable the option to allow your PS5 to be turned on from the App.

Open the PS5 App

To wake your PS5 from Rest Mode using the PS5 App, first make sure that the PS5 console and the device you’re using for the PS5 App are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Launch the PS5 App and sign in with your PlayStation Network account. tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen and select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

In the PS5 App Settings, scroll down to find “Power Saving Settings” and tap on it. In Power Saving Settings, tap “Rest Mode.”

On the next screen, under “Connect to PS5,” make sure that “Stay Connected to this PS5” is turned on.

Now, open the app drawer on your smartphone or tablet and tap on “PlayStation.” The PlayStation logo will now appear as a widget on your device’s home screen. Tap on it to open up the PlayStation Remote Play app. sign in with your PlayStation Network account if you haven’t already.

In the Remote Play app, click on “Start” to begin streaming your PS5 gameplay to your device. When you’re done playing, tap on “Stop Broadcasting” in the bottom right corner of the screen to end your stream.

Select Settings

  1. From the main screen of your PS5 console, scroll down and select Settings from the control center.
  2. Within the Settings menu, select Power.
  3. From the Power menu, select Turn Off PS5. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to turn off your console.
  4. Once your PS5 is turned off, open the PlayStation App on your mobile device.
  5. From the main screen of the app, select PS5 from the list of consoles associated with your account. If you have more than one console linked to your account, make sure you select the correct one.
  6. Once you have selected your console, select Turn On PS5 from the options menu. Your console will power on and boot up to the main screen.

2.Select Settings > Devices > Power Saving Settings > Set Functions Available in Rest Mode.

If you’re using the PlayStation App on iOS or Android, you can turn on your PS5 remotely. You’ll need to have your PS5 and your mobile device on the same Wi-Fi network, and then follow these steps:

1. Open the PlayStation App and tap the PlayStation button in the top-left corner of the app.

2. Tap your PS5 from the Devices menu.

3. Select Turn On from the drop-down menu.

How to turn on ps5 from app

The PS5 will enter rest mode when the power button is pressed for a long time. This can be done from the controller by holding down the PS button for 10 seconds. If you want to turn off the PS5 completely, you can do so by holding down the PS button for 30 seconds.

The easiest way to turn on your PS5 is to just press and hold the PS button on the controller. This will turn on the system automatically, and if the PS5 is in Rest Mode, it’ll wake it up.

If you’re having trouble finding the PS button, it’s the big one in the middle of the controller that has the PlayStation logo on it.

From the quick menu, select Turn On. If your PS5™ console is in rest mode, it will automatically turn on.
